Potassium Citrate Microencapsulated Granules Supplement for UTI Treatment, Inhibits Urinary Stone Formation in Cats and Dogs

This medication has been easy to add to my pet's food and is now a long term medication to treat his urinary stone issues. My dog has no issues taking it and I feel its cost effective for the amount you get!Only thing I can say is that I wish it came in a larger mg/scoop as my dog needs 1500mg twice daily.

I bought these to raise the ph of my dog’s urine so he would not form crystals. Seems to work and cheap. I also was looking for a formula without cranberry because I was giving him a separate cranberry supplement and this fit the bill.The only downside is very powdery, although he doesn’t seem to mind the flavor. I find myself pouring water over the bowl to make it less powdery.

See pics!So first of all, I’m only giving it 4 stars because the product itself doesn’t say that it’s for cats as well anywhere on it. I had to contact the manufacturer to confirm it would be safe for cats. If this were in a store, I’d definitely skip it as there’s no indications that it’s a cat safe medicine.After confirming, it’s been great for my cat. She has a recurring UTI and doesn’t respond to every medication so I’m glad this has been working. I only have to give her a little bit of it too to help so this container will last a LONG time for us.She also doesn’t mind the flavor and eats it happily with some kitty lickable treats so “medicine time” is always exciting.Overall, I can recommend this for your cat as it has worked on my very sensitive cat. I would only suggest editing the cover/description of the container so it’s easily recognizable as a multi-pet product.

This keeps my basenji from developing bladder stones from Oxalate crystals in her urine. We have been using it for several years. I add it to her food twice each day. Buying from Amazon is so easy and convenient there is no reason for me to shop for it elsewhere.

Our family dog has been consuming this product for a couple years now and it has really helped balance the pH levels of her urine.

Need this to keep my dog alive, to prevent bladder stones. Please continue making this version.
