Stopped working after first journey
Travelled to holiday park, 600 mile round trip and all seemed well, then went to install for next trip around 3 weeks later and brake lights would not work at all, however, caravan running lights would come on when brake pressed. Tried out on a different caravan and trailer with similar results. The item was installed properly and could not have been stretched, tugged or dragged yet suddenly stopped operating properly. Tried all usual remedies like using wd-40, wire brush and sandpaper on the connections and even bought £20 worth of fuses for caravan and car as we thought it couldn't possibly be the adapter, yet after trying on different caravan and trailer we deducted that the adapter must have been at fault. Bit the bullet and went to Halfords and paid £30 for another adapter which has worked perfectly on another three journeys also and has a way better build quality with thicker cables and more rigid sockets/plugs. Spend the extra and avoid this junk. Glad I never posted review after first use.
