Great value Surf Rod
Got his on sale for less than $50us. The seller did an outstanding job with packaging. I coupled with a Penn Pursuit 4 4000 reel. Best bang for your buck if find both on sale. This is all you need to get started with Surf Fishing.

Great rod for catching crabs in the surf!

Only got half a rod—twice.
I’m sure the rod is great, but I wouldn’t know. Amazon delivered it missing the top half. I returned it for a replacement, the replacement was again missing the top section of the rod. Now I’m only eligible for a refund and the price has gone up if I want to order it again. On top of that, I’ve had to make two out of the way trips to a UPS store to return both wrong items. Penn gear is great, but Amazon can’t seem to deliver on this one.

Broken upon arrival
I ordered 2 of these rods for a fishing trip. I received both on time, however one rod was broken. The broken rod was missing about 6 inches of rod where the 2 pieces connect. This wasn’t a fault on shipping and handling, but rather a fault from the manufacturer. I returned and have a new rod on the way, if it receive the replacement in good condition before my trip I will update my review, but as of right now I’m quite disappointed*edit- I received my replacement in good condition a day before my trip. Seems to be good, 4 stars for the first broken rod.

Great rod.
Used it for surf fishing. I love that it’s a 2-piece rod. Easier to carry and transport. I’ll say that it is durable for its length. I was a little worried about the stiffness being too much to be able to feel a bite. But it’s not bad. Takes a little bit of time to get used to casting and feeling for it if you’ve never used a longer rod before.

Such a good rod for the money
Is only had one twisted ring but I straightened it and can cast 100+yard with 3o. Feels like and durable. 2 pieces makes it easy to carry
