Great adapter

Exactly what I needed and works perfectly. Pay attention to all descriptions of this type of dongle. I purchased incorrect the first time. This is male HDMI female DPI.

Does the Job
I bought a used Smsung monitor not realizing that it required this kind of adapter. It works as expected with my old (10 years?) Toshiba laptop running Windows 7. The plugs are a little clunky and having a separate power cord (I have mine plugged into a 5V charger to save USB port space) makes it more so, but I assume other brands would have the same issue. Like everything else, once you have it set up and it's working, it's mission accomplished, albeit a little messy looking.

Easy HDMI to DP adapter
Plug and play. One thing I missed from the product description was the fact that it requires USB power to operate. It works easily to convert HDMI to DP with perfect picture quality, and the price is a good value.

Exactly what I needed. Tried others and this one is much better. Connects my hdmi switched to my display port output to my tv in 4k at 60hz no problem.
