Creamy and beautiful formula!
Creamy and velvety formula that glides onto lips seamlessly. Can be used to fill in lips completely or just as a simple lip liner. The shade I have is maybe aside and the color is a beautifully mauve nude that flatters most skin tones and is my daily go to for an everyday lip color. Easy to apply and remove. Isn’t super long lasting but lasts longer when finished off with a setting spray. The formula will smudge if you rub at your lips too much but stays in place when drinking a beverage or smoking a cigarette. Overall I love this formula and especially love the brand. Excellent value as usual. Highly recommend!

Such a great lip liner
This cream glide lip liner by ELF is perfection! I cannot believe such a great product was only $2! This is shade Spill The Tea... it's the perfect nude with a hint of neutral brown to it. Looks great with shimmer gloss over it and also with a pop of baby pink in the center. Its creamy and just glides on while still being a nice matte color. Stays well for quite awhile. Love everything abt it!! 😍

Great quality for the price
I was honestly surprised at how good the e.l.f. lip liner is, especially given how affordable it is. I’ve tried a lot of high-end brands, but this one holds its own. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t tug at the lips, and the color payoff is excellent. It’s a perfect everyday neutral that pairs well with a lot of my lipsticks. What I love most is how long it lasts. I use it to slightly overline my lips and even wear it on its own with a little balm — it stays put for hours without drying me out. The pencil sharpens easily and doesn’t crumble, which is another big plus.If you’re looking for a budget-friendly lip liner that performs like a premium product, this is it. Definitely repurchasing in more shades!

Pinky Swear is too pink/orange, not at all a dupe for Pillow Talk. Smooth, though!
This is very nice lip liner and goes on smoothly, but it's a bit too pink to look natural, esp if you're looking for a Pillow Talk dupe. I don't usually wear beige-brown tones, but this needs a LITTLE more of that. SEE PIC; left side is Tillsbury Pillow Talk in medium, right is Elf Pinky Swear. Notice how much pinker and more orange the Elf cream liner is. On the lips, it ends up looking odd and not particularly natural, even though it's not technically too dark or light.I'd considered the Truth or Bare shade, too, but the swatches I found made it look even more orangey than Pinky Swear! Maybe baddest beige is the way to go?? It looks too dark to me in the swatches, but I'll update if I buy it and it does end up working out.(Note, I have light complexion but enough ruddiness and sun exposure to not be SUPER fair. Naturally pinkish lips, but less so as I age.)If you do stick with Pinky Swear, it does pair really well with sephora lip stain in forever rose. The whole effect together is a bit too light for me (ie, slightly lighter than my natural lip tone unless I'm cold or not wearing basic lip balm), but it'd probably be great on most fairer people. On its own, though, without a filler color, the pinky lip liner just stands out too much (unlike pillow talk) and looks fake. :/

Feels Like Lipstick in a Pencil—for $2?!
I recently picked up the e.l.f. Cream Glide Lip Liner in “Truth or Bare”, and it’s honestly way better than I expected for the price. The formula is super smooth and glides on like a dream—no tugging or dragging. It’s really pigmented, and the semi-matte finish gives it a polished look without feeling dry. I’ve been using it to shape and fill in my lips, and it works perfectly both on its own and under lipstick or gloss. The shade “Truth or Bare” is a great peachy-nude that looks natural but still adds definition. It wears surprisingly well, though I do touch it up after meals. It’s also easy to sharpen and doesn’t crumble like some cheaper pencils. The fact that it’s vegan and cruelty-free is a huge bonus. For just a couple of bucks, this lip liner seriously punches above its weight—I already bought a backup!

Get it
Yall these are good and they are so cheap! Such a great deal! The color range could be better but they work well, they are soft, easy to use, comfortable to wear and looks great on. I have two and I would repurchase again.

Good coverage, pretty shades, applied smoothly
I am shocked at how well this very affordable elf lip liner works! Easy to apply, smooth, outlines my lips without looking overly drawn. I usually just use the liner and a tinted lip balm and my lips look fuller and softer than a lot of the more expensive brands. I have not yet sharpened it so I'm curious if it will continue to go on as smooth once it's resharpened. It does wear off a bit throughout the day so reapplication is necessary. But it doesn't dry out my lips and the coverage and stay power is good, esp for the price!

e.l.f. Cream Glide Lip Liner – Highly Pigmented
Better than most high-end liners. This lip liner glides on effortlessly and doesn’t tug at all. It’s creamy enough to fill the whole lip, but it also locks your lipstick in place. I’ve used it alone and under gloss—it holds up both ways and the pigment is rich!
