I fell in love with this beautiful hour glass sand timer, from the moment I discovered its existence. I was even more delighted to be gifted it as a Christmas present. It’s a good quality item to compliment such other curious collection of strangely beautiful things I adore.

Ordered (and paid for) the 60 minute version in black. Received the right colour, but the 30 minute version. Price difference at the time of writing is only £1, but I specifically wanted the 60 minute version, which is why I ordered it.Hourglass itself is very nice, not the best quality but nice enough. Needs to be placed on a coaster or something as the feet are not covered by the cheap and nasty sticky-backed EVA foam on the bottom and they're quite scratchy.Came very well packaged, which was a nice surprise, and didn't take too long considering the distance - under 2 weeks. I just wish I'd been sent the version I actually ordered, since it's not cost-effective to send it back to China and I'd probably only be sent another 30 minute one (possibly in the wrong colour, as another customer has stated they got the wrong colour).So in summary, given the distance it's travelled and the quality, it's just about worth the cost if you decide to buy. Just don't expect to get the version you ordered, and if you do then that's an extra added bonus!
