Finally, a Comfortable and Affordable Period Boxer Brief That Works!
I have tried nearly every brand of period boxer briefs on the market, and I’ve been consistently disappointed—until now. Since getting a copper IUD, my period has been heavier, and I needed extra protection for overnight wear without waking up to a mess. I was looking for breathable cotton fabric, real absorbency, and, most importantly, a design that didn’t feel like I was wearing a diaper.I actually found a brand that I loved—unfortunately, it was very expensive, and they later discontinued it. After that, I tried to find an alternative and purchased a different brand that frequently appears as the top search result for cotton period boxer briefs on Amazon (the brand starts with a G). I was incredibly disappointed—the boxers were flimsy, the sizing was inconsistent, and they felt and looked awkward to wear. After trying multiple brands that left me frustrated, I stumbled upon these Hanes briefs. At just $15 for TWO pairs, I was skeptical—most period underwear costs well over $20 per pair. However, I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived in the mail and I tried them on. Not only did they fit perfectly, but when I slept in them that night, I had no issues and no mess to wake up to. I will attach a photo for reference, as I know when I was looking at reviews, it was helpful to see what they looked like and hear other people’s detailed feedback.Fit & ComfortI normally fall between a small and a medium but opted for small since the shipping time was faster. I’m so glad I did! The fit is perfect- snug but not restrictive, with enough stretch to accommodate different body types. If you’re between sizes, you likely can’t go wrong either way. I wouldn’t say these necessarily run small, but their stretchiness makes them forgiving. I’ve already ordered a medium and will update on how those fit when I receive them in the mail.**I received the medium, and decided I prefer the fit of the small. I still wear & feel comfortable in the medium- and definitely not too big. However, in terms of boxer briefs for leakage, I feel most secure and prefer a snug *but comfortable* fit.

Comfortable Protection
These are really helpful during periods and for bladder leaks. They are comfortable and true to size. The material feels like a thick, quality material. Way more comfortable than thick pads or other period options in my opinion. And of course saves money!

Extra Protection - Peace of Mind
I love these! It feels great having the extra coverage, particularly on my heavier day. I also like these for the end of my cycle when I’m not sure if I’m completely off or not. These work just fine without any pad/tampon for those extra light/spot days.I also like the length. They cut off just under my butt cheek so they really don’t show much of a pants line with my clothes. The only place these lost a star is tht the lining is in a really weird place so they weren’t the most comfortable at first. I thought they were bunching up, but it was just the awkward spot where the padding ends. However, the reason it is that way is for functionality. If it were any higher up i think these would be too hot. Any lower down wouldn’t be as food for coverage. Just takes some getting used to.

Great purchase! Maybe size up?
Switched to more sustainable period products and I love these. They do fit tight around my thighs (I ordered medium and that’s true for my size) so consider sizing up. Love the feel; they are leak proof and the size of the padded area gives you peace of mind.

PCOS/Endo girl approved-absorbent/comfortable
I hardly ever write product reviews but I got these for my cycle last month and they were great. I have PCOS as well as endometriosis so I get really heavy bleeding. These are amazing. Really comfy and thin, super absorbent at a cost point that is hard to beat. I started my cycle again and wanted more pairs. Ordered yesterday and it came this morning. Fast delivery and quality product!

Size wisely, they shrink
These shrink quite a bit. I used them once, washed them in cold water and lost two pounds. When I put them back on, they were much smaller. Other than that, they work pretty well and are fairly comfortable.Update. After wearing them twice (well, all day one time and then again for about ten minutes) after the shrinkage, I threw them away. After they shrink, they are short like boy shorts rather than being boxer length. At first, I was OK with this, but then the leg ends started rolling up.

Comfort for mind and body
I wear these as a security net at night since sometimes my cup leaks, and when it does it’s dramatic. So far several periods in and no leaks on my bed, which is major for me (I used to create a saddle type situation with several giant pads or wear diapers to sleep along with a cup, and still sometimes the towel I slept on got stained) AND these are so comfortable I even found myself wearing them when Im not on my period. Also, the price is by far the best I could find for period underwear.

Thumbs up
I use these for overnight backup for a cup. They are soft and comfortable. The padding is a little noticeable, but not as much as a disposable pad. I don't feel the padding is long enough for solo overnight use, but highly recommend for backup protection in case Aunt Flo decides to throw a heavy night at you.Sizing seems about right; you shouldn't need to go up a size unless you bloat significantly.
