Defective item. Only 1 light works the other light did not work all despite trying 3 different bulbs. Waste of money!

The ceiling light arrived well packed in foam with the cover plate in one piece of foam and the glass globes together with the main ceiling light fitting in another piece. To assemble it the straight black tube is threaded onto the two wires having first removed the top black collar and nut to enable the wires to pass through the tube with ease. The black collar can then be screwed back, and the gold plate placed over the threaded stem followed by the main black cover plate, having first removed the chrome mounting bracket. The washer and earth lead can then be placed onto the thread and the backing nut screwed on.To fit the unit to the ceiling the power supply should be first disconnected and if this unit is replacing an existing ceiling rose then care needs to be taken to isolate the ring main wires from the positive and negative wires which will connect to the unit by using a separate terminal block. The chrome mounting plate is then fixed to the ceiling in the appropriate position and the light unit offered up in order to connect the incoming positive, negative and earth cables from the mains to the 3 gang terminal block that is supplied. Once all wires have been tightly screwed into their appropriate positions the cover plate can be attached to the chrome mounting plate using the two screws.The four glass globes are finally fitted onto the light bulb sockets using the special tool which enables the fixing nuts to be screwed tightly home. Unfortunately the G9 bulbs are not supplied with the unit, so halogen or LED equivalents will need to be sourced before the light can be used.I think this should make quite an attractive addition to most rooms with its black and gold design and nice looking glass globes, and will look great in one of our bedrooms. I would consider it to be reasonably priced as well.
