I happened to be in my living room when they were delivered, so I got the package as it was delivered.I bought them to add to an Advent Calendar, where you open a door and get a gift for each day. As I took them out, more than 1/2 were sticky and leaking. I tasted one of the leaking ones, and it wasn't good. Cheap chocolate and crystalized contents. Honestly DO NOT give this as a gift.I wish I hadn't sampled them, so I could return them. I'm stuck with them now (or rather my garbage is), but I'm stuck with the bill. Some leaking I could deal with, but the quality of the "pristine" ones is horrible too. What a scam.....

Yes, it does have a liquid center, which can be messy, but these taste very much like their cocktail inspiration. They do taste like real liquor, just make sure you put the whole thing in your mouth.

The interior of the chocolate was crunchy and the taste was terrible. What a waste of money. I'm very disappointed.

I received my box of chocolate in perfect condition, nothing broken and no sticky mess. Everything appears well packaged and I would say suitable for gifting. The size of each chocolate is roughly the side of the tip of your thumb. Unlike other alcohol filled chocolates that I’m used to (in the mini bottle form), I found these chocolates a bit more difficult to savor. What I mean is that I typically like to take a bite out of the chocolate, drink out the liquor and then enjoy the rest of the chocolate. This doesn’t work with these. When taking a bite, the entire piece basically falls apart. Thankfully I took precautions over a sink as it became a mess. If you are going to enjoy these, you will need to either eat them in a single bite OR bite while allowing all the liquor to pour into your mouth. I found that the chocolate was pretty thin and because there is so much sugar in the liquor, it is a much more crunchy experience. They are all tasty and I didn’t get the impression that the chocolate was old. They can melt in your mouth.

Old messy leaky and regret this purchase!

I don't know what they taste like but I get these liquor filled chocolates every year for her and she raves about them.

The taste was great. Unfortunately the liquid was no longer present in the chocolates and was all over the package . It was extremely sticky and messy. This certainly couldn't be given as a gift as I had hoped 😔
