Old trapper snack sticks are a great snack, not greasy, no carbs, no sugar and wonderful flavor and texture. something those of us who are watching their blood sugar hold important. Absolutely delicious, but lotta salt. Don’t eat a whole bag or you’ll swell up! Hard not to tho :)

I have bought these many times and sometimes the jerky sticks are hard and stale.

First thing I thought when I ate one was that it was pleasant. Tastes similar to slim Jim but with more of a fresh, “less-processed” feel.. but the salt. It’s VERY salty. Like, make you thirsty instantly salty.I do eat a lot of salty stuff with no problem with that familiar taste, but having one of these, it was salty enough that I almost made a face.I think maybe tossing one of these with eggs isn’t a bad idea or having with a fruit or veggie is good but I wanted this as something to snack on without anything else, so just a heads up if that’s what you’re looking for too.Besides the saltiness, the flavor is good, nice smoky flavor. I’ll still be eating this, just going to drink more water with it 👍.
